Doheny State Beach Campground

 

Doheny State Beach has over 100 camping sites and some of them are beach front camping. The camping area is on the south side of creek with the coast highway and the railroad tracks are on one side and the beach on the other side.  This campground on the beach does not offer hookups but they have a dumpsite on the property.

The campground is close and is in walking distance to an aquarium and local restaurants.  Doheny Beach Campground has very clear water and is popular with surfers and body boaders. You can fish from shore and a pier is nearby. They also have a harbor where you can take whale watching tours from.
